A small cavern carved into the cliff becomes a summer pavilion for fashion, where the Mediterranean landscape and the language of Dior merge into a single spatial experience.
Between Rock and Sea
Perched on the rocky coastline of Anacapri, the Dior Resort pop-up unfolds within the evocative setting of Il Riccio Beach Club, overlooking the deep blue waters of the Mediterranean. Conceived as a seasonal retail retreat, the project establishes a direct dialogue with the surrounding landscape. The boutique occupies a natural cave carved into the cliff, transforming a dramatic geological space into an intimate environment dedicated to the Dioriviera universe.
A Bazaar in the Cliff
The heart of the project is the small grotto embedded in the rock, reinterpreted as a compact bazaar where the brand’s summer collections are displayed. Around it, terraces and open-air spaces extend the experience outdoors, populated by beach cabins and lounge areas decorated with the iconic Bayadère stripes and the Toile de Jouy motif. The result is a fluid sequence of interior and exterior settings that blur the boundaries between boutique, landscape and leisure.
Craft and Mediterranean Atmosphere
The material palette draws from local craft traditions while integrating elements of the brand’s visual identity. Reinterpreted island ceramics, natural bamboo surfaces and brass details create a tactile composition that resonates with the warmth of the Mediterranean environment. Vegetation, sea views and light become active components of the design, allowing nature to enter the space and shaping a retail environment conceived as an immersive summer landscape.
