A Dialogue Between Past and Present
Located within the elegant Palazzo Berardi in the heart of Rome, the Hyntelo office confronts an intriguing contradiction: the solidity of historical architecture opposed to the fluidity of contemporary tech work. This juxtaposition becomes the project’s guiding idea, embracing both the solemnity of terrazzo floors, marble moldings, and wooden coffered ceilings, and the dynamic demands of a digital enterprise. The design unfolds as a calibrated conversation between enduring fabric and adaptive workplace life.
Light, Craft, and Spatial Flexibility
Central to the office’s renewed identity is light — both natural and engineered — which maps surfaces and activates volumes without disrupting the day’s work rhythm. Custom lighting fixtures, conceived and crafted with artisanal precision, highlight architectural details while reinforcing a serene spatial order. Furnishings — large collaborative tables, flexible workstations, and tailored joinery — respond to Hyntelo’s evolving needs, blending essential contemporary function with the integrity of place.
