A Garden Suspended in Time
Le Jardin des Rêves emerges in the legendary gardens of the iconic Grand Hotel Timeo, itself a witness to 150 years of Taormina’s allure. Perched amidst towering cypress trees, two crafted cabins reinterpret the art of presence, translating a century and a half of cultural resonance into a delicate choreography of form. These structures do not merely occupy space — they inhabit the poetic gap between heritage and the landscape.
Material Poetics and Spatial Intent
Accessed by a simple wooden stair, each cabin — one double and one single — blends rigorous design with tactile warmth. Clad in a reimagined green toile de Jouy fabric and framed by bamboo seating and brushed brass luminaires, the cabins evoke both a retreat and a threshold. Materials are selected not for mere dressing, but to engage light, air, and ambience, crafting intimate enclaves that dialogue with sunlit branches and distant sea views.
A Ritual of Well-Being and Place
Here, wellness is not an accessory but a spatial experience — where skincare rituals unfold amid a tapestry of Mediterranean green and Sicilian sky. Drawing on Dior’s holistic expertise, treatments become gestures of renewal that extend from the enfolding wood and fabric into body and mind. Le Jardin des Rêves invites guests to inhabit the space slowly, to let each moment merge with memory, and to rediscover Taormina’s timeless beauty in whispered increments.
