A small object becomes a quiet architectural gesture, where form, function and ritual converge into a refined everyday companion.
A Gesture of Everyday Design
Tiam is conceived as a compact design object that transforms a simple daily action into a thoughtful spatial gesture. Developed through a process that blends concept design and engineering, the project explores the relationship between usability and form. Its presence is discreet yet intentional, designed to integrate naturally into the rhythms of domestic or work environments while elevating the ordinary through careful design.
Form and Precision
The object is defined by a clear and balanced geometry, where each line serves both aesthetic and functional purposes. Proportions are carefully calibrated to ensure intuitive use, while the structure reflects a precise technical development that translates design ideas into a manufacturable product. Through this synthesis of concept and engineering, the project reveals a design approach where simplicity becomes the result of rigorous refinement.
Object as Experience
Beyond its functional role, Tiam invites a slower and more conscious interaction with everyday gestures. Materials, tactile qualities and visual clarity contribute to a calm and refined presence, allowing the object to coexist naturally within different interior contexts. In this sense, the project reflects a broader design philosophy: transforming small-scale objects into meaningful experiences through attention to detail and thoughtful construction.
