A steep spiraling black toy inside a nine floors staircase.
We have been involved into this large refurbishment project which has been lead by Coolproject and architect Jacopo Rizzi. Our focus has been the main vertical connection: an existing spiral staircase connecting the 9 levels. The final tenant of this building is ALD automotive, leader in the provision of mobility solutions.
Therefore we embodied movement in the first brainstorming. Also, the massive presence of this black spiraling staircase had to be celebrated somehow. We came up with an ambitious idea which has been enginnered with Tecnostyle masters of sceneography for theater and cinema productions. The track is completed with moving cars shaped as the ALD mascotte.
