Where presence and craft converge: an experiential stage for Italian design at the heart of the world’s workplace dialogue.
Dialogue with Context – A Presence in Cologne
At ORGATEC Cologne, the exhibition designed for Luxy emerged not merely as a display but as an intentional spatial conversation with the city’s architectural rhythm and the event’s international dimension. Here, the stand assumed the role of ambassador — a crafted setting where Italian design language and the ethos of workplace evolution intersect. The project acknowledged the fair’s role as a global forum for ideas about work, culture, and environment, situating Luxy within a context defined by inquiry, exchange, and collective innovation.
Material Story and Sensory Poetics
Every material and detail was selected to express both Luxy’s heritage in craftsmanship and its relentless pursuit of functional elegance. The space’s tactile richness — articulated through refined surfaces and carefully considered proportions — mirrored the brand’s design philosophy, where comfort and form coalesce. Within this crafted enclosure, seating solutions became protagonists, evoking clarity of purpose while remaining intimately connected to the gestures of those who pause, gather, and engage. The design’s restraint allowed product identities to resonate, punctuating space without overwhelming it.
Human-Centred Flow and Spatial Resonance
Rather than imposing a rigid hierarchy of zones, the layout encouraged an intuitive flow that guided visitors through a sequence of experiences — from contemplative pauses to moments of social engagement. This spatial choreography reflected an understanding that workplace environments evolve from human behaviour, not merely functional requirements. Within this environment, Luxy’s design solutions did more than exhibit — they invited exploration, reflection, and discovery, making the act of engagement itself a meaningful part of the architectural narrative on display at ORGATEC Cologne.
