Where the Riviera meets couture — a seasonal atelier unfolds between shaded terrace and summer light
A Seamless Dialogue with Place
In the iconic summer enclave of Forte dei Marmi, the pop-up for Dior Resort is conceived not as a mere retail shell, but as a measured intervention in landscape and leisure. Positioning itself between promenade and sea breeze, the design listens to its maritime surroundings, allowing light, shadow, and the relaxed cadence of holiday rhythms to shape the space. The result is a temporary pavilion whose presence is poised and contextual, synthesising seasonality with brand presence.
Brand DNA as Material Language
Drawing from the Maison’s distinctive codes, the two-storey pop-up integrates materials emblematic of Dior’s identity — from Toile de Jouy and cannage to raffia and alabaster surfaces. These surfaces become more than decoration: they serve as a tactile backdrop that amplifies both collection and context. A generous terrace extends the interior, offering a relaxed lounge atmosphere furnished with sofas and armchairs, where whimsy — even in the form of a sculptural tiger and giraffe — merges with refined simplicity.
Ephemeral Yet Immersive
Here, retail becomes immersion: a spatial choreography that frames garments, accessories, and moments of pause within a narrative of light and material nuance. The pop-up’s openness and layered textures capture the Riviera’s effortless glamour, inviting visitors to linger rather than merely browse. In this seasonal setting, architecture and design calibrate brand expression with ease of experience — an interplay of gesture, place, and the unhurried tempo of coastal summer life.
