Where warmth and landscape converge: a pavilion tuned to place and season

Climatic Dialogue: Crafting A Seasonal Stage

Set in the iconic winter destination of Cortina d’Ampezzo, the Dior winter pop-up materializes as a temporal architecture attuned to its alpine context. Conceived with precision by Thirtyone design, the space responds to the rugged climate through a thoughtful balance of materials — raw concrete juxtaposed with natural wood — inviting a tactile encounter that reflects both the rigors and the warmth of its surroundings.

Material Poetics: Surface And Texture

Inside, surfaces act as both display and narrators of experience. Innovative materials and carefully textured displays elevate the presentation of dior’s activewear collection, integrating subtle contrasts that resonate like seasonal shifts. The interplay between smooth and tactile planes generates a spatial richness that dialogues with light, shadow, and the rhythm of movement through the pop-up.

Atmospheric Presence: Identity In Place

More than a retail enclosure, the pop-up becomes a frame for cultural and climatic narratives: a space where brand identity and environmental character merge. Its design embraces both the contemporary language of fashion presentation and the timeless allure of the alpine landscape, articulating a refined yet responsive setting that celebrates fashion as much as the spirit of place.
