A contemporary space deeply connected to its surroundings, where architecture, furnishings and landscape come together to create a seamless experience.

Architecture and Landscape

The Alisé rooftop marks a new chapter in the transformation of Hotel Garden in Praia a Mare, further developing the design language introduced with the renovation of the hotel’s interiors and gardens. The terrace opens onto two complementary landscapes: the Tyrrhenian Sea and Dino Island on one side, and the Calabrian mountains on the other. The project takes shape from this balance, turning the surrounding scenery into a constant presence and making it an integral part of the guest experience.

A Space That Frames the View

The layout has been conceived as an open, fluid environment. Raised platforms follow the natural configuration of the space, inviting guests to experience the landscape from different perspectives, while softly curved bar counters guide movement with ease and continuity. Lounge areas are arranged along the perimeter, ensuring that every position maintains a direct relationship with the horizon and encourages moments of gathering without interrupting the dialogue with the outdoors.

Materials and Atmosphere

Alisé’s palette takes inspiration from the colours of the landscape and has been designed to promote relaxation and visual harmony. Shades of sage green, forest green, terracotta, warm wood and “Garden” Grey define an environment that is cohesive, welcoming and distinctive. Natural light completes the design, transforming the atmosphere throughout the day: bright and airy in daylight, more intimate and enveloping at sunset. The furniture follows the same philosophy of balance and refinement. Kartell furnishings were chosen to lightly complement the space. The clean-lined chairs, in a brick shade, engage with the project’s surfaces and colors, contributing to an elegant and restrained atmosphere.
